An urban testbed for new exciting products or services
At Urban ICT Arena, companies find a testbed where their latest innovations can be evaluated in a real urban environment. Our founding partners (ABB, Ericsson, IBM, KTH, Region Stockholm, RISE, City of Stockholm and Stockholm University) are all on the cutting edge of new technologies and solutions. To be able to partner with their experience and knowledge gives invaluable input to startups and innovative companies. Urban ICT Arena’s understanding of the needs of municipalities, regions and authorities gives us a unique position as a creative melting pot for collaboration, that evolves sustainable cities.

Urban ICT Arena is a non-profit organization with a mission to facilitate collaboration between businesses, society, academia and citizens to develop smart and digital solutions for sustainable cities. We are a part of Kista Science City, one of the world’s leading ICT-clusters located north of Stockholm, Sweden. Together we establish strong, innovative collaborations between businesses, the public sector and academia.
On site and virtual visits to Urban ICT Arena
In collaboration with Stockholm Discovery we offer guided tours on site and online business visits for international delegations. Stockholm Discovery offer seminars, inspirational lectures and in-depth workshops to which we can invite guest speakers from the business sector who have expertise that matches your specific interests. The goal of the program is to increase collaboration between small companies and the public sector in Sweden. This is done by matching innovative startups with public actors across Sweden and supporting the parties to initiate collaborations through coaching and process management.
