Companies within the fields of traffic analysis and mapping join Urban ICT Arena

Trafikia and T-Kartor join Urban ICT Arena as partners and Bumbee Labs renews their partnership.

Urban ICT Arena is continuing to grow its cluster of companies in smart cities by attracting more partners. During spring 2020, several companies within traffic analysis and mapping have joined the arena. These companies add new values to the arena and strengthen Urban ICT Arena’s position as a cluster within mobility and IoT.

– As our cities are getting smarter, the ability to efficiently evaluate and analyse traffic is essential. These companies will help to ensure that the transportation sector of tomorrow has the right tools, says Sara Nozkova, Mobility Lead at Urban ICT Arena.

Trafikia is the leading road traffic data provider in Scandinavia. They create tailor-made solutions to make sure their customers have accurate and up to date information on traffic development.

– Urban ICT Arena is a platform for us to create new partnerships and to test and demonstrate new technology. With headquarters in Kista we wish to support local development efforts and partnerships, says Mats Hagström, CEO at Trafikia.

T-Kartor combines cartography, GIS and programming expertise since 1985. They work internationally for organizations and cities that need efficient solutions for security, big data management and sustainable mobility.
