Järfälla Municipality joins Urban ICT Arena as a Supporting Partner. In addition to Stockholm Stad, one of our founding partners, this is our first partnership with a municipality, and we are looking forward to exploring future possibilities together. Järfälla is also one of our partners in Ignite Public.
Järfälla is one of the fastest growing municipalities in the Stockholm Region and is home to the massive urban development Barkarbystaden. The municipality has already shown interest in the future of connected cities – the autonomous vehicles previously tested in Kista are now running in Barkarby.
