Four new partners join Urban ICT Arena

Urban ICT Arena welcomes four new partners – CaCharge, Freelway, MoveAbout and WSI.

Our cities need to be more sustainable, and a key part is smart and effective transportation. Three our new partners provide interesting products and solutions for the mobility services of tomorrow, and one is a key player in the Kista ecosystem.

CaCharge provides smart charging stations for electric vehicles and distribute the charging power more effectively between them. MoveAbout provides a growing number of carpools with electric cars powered by renewable energy. They also help companies to optimise their car fleets. We also welcome Freelway as a partner, who develops coordinates transports. Freelway has recently provided the software platform for our ridesharing pilot DELTA.

– We are glad to see more companies within the field of mobility joining Urban ICT Arena. The future of sustainable cities is built upon effective transportation – and these companies already provide very interesting solutions today. We are looking forward to continuing our work with them and combining various smart solutions, says Sara Nozkova, Mobility Lead at Urban ICT Arena.

We also welcome WSI as a partner. The Kista-based company helps their clients thrive in a connected world. They can help to develop complete products and solutions, from sensor to cloud. Earlier this year, they held a Tech Tuesday together with us on the subject of digital business models.
